A brilliant & modern way of cooking Okra !
Ingredients:
1 Dozen medium size Okra (cut in half)
1 Tbs olive oil
2 Garlic cloves; chopped
100g Cooking chorizo; diced
Sea salt / ground black pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. With the frying pan OFF the fire,put olive oil,chopped garlic and diced chorizo in it,then heat the frying pan on a very low fire.
2. Let the ingredients fry gently for 5-7 minutes without the garlic burning.
3. As soon as the chorizo is crispy add the okra.
4. Increase the fire to medium high and stir.
5. After 2-3 minutes (before the okra becomes sticky) remove the frying pan from the fire,season the ingredients and serve.
This recipe serves 2!
